Where would you place this ideally? On the ground or on a table? To be used for wok. You can put a griddle on top of this to make burgers or taco?

i have something very similar to this that i use in conjunction with a very small blackstone. works great for boiling water and making coffee.

if i didnt have the blackstone i would get a more traditional 2 burner coleman stove. types like this one are way too heavy for only having 1 burner.

Depends on the Wok. I use a high-BTU burner to wok fry all the time in a flat-bottom wok and it works perfectly well without a ring.

I have a 110K BTU version of this stove that I primarily use for cooking whenever we have any special events that requires a lot of cooking and is great for wok cooking. This particular one is great for camping and comes with a cheap regulator that you can adjust...for $23 it's a steal!!!

Do you adjust from the red knob on the regulator? Doesn't it have its own knob somewhere else to adjust?

Yes!! The red knob is the only option to adjust the flame. The lowest setting itself (on my model) is pretty powerful as it's a wok burner/jet burner.
