Are the pro versions of the deathadders worth the substantially higher cost?

Pro has a rechargeable battery and is compatible with charging docks while this only takes batteries. That's probably the biggest difference. The grip surface texture is also a bit different but that's mostly down to personal preferences.

Only the v2 hyperspeed has those 2 buttons. the v2 and v2 pro does not have them. I own all 3 versions.
Side note: The deathadder is a great mouse. One of my v2 pros which I've had since like 2020 and I've used heavily almost everyday, started double clicking with the middle mouse. At this price for new, I'm getting it since the v2 has basically been replaced by the v3 and v4. I expect these prices to be the normal price for it now, if not even lower in time.

How does this compare to the Razer Orochi V2?

They're pretty much the same. Similar sensors, same switches and software. The only difference would be the shape. The deathadders are heavier, bigger, and made for larger hands. The orochi is lighter, smaller, and made for smaller hands. The deathadders generally are made for claw grips because of the hump while orochi can do neutral grips. It's up to your personal preference.

The original deathadder 2 isn't for sale anymore at least on Amazon so I got this. I like the large size. DA 3 is too small. The two new buttons look useless.

I have purchased three Razer mouses, and the scroll wheel has failed on every one of them. They jump up and down randomly when you try to scroll.

I googled how to fix it, and I found many, many reports from others with the same issues. None of the listed "fixes" corrected the issue.
