IKR? I should have invested my 401k into RAM and hard drives.

Yeah, forget about upgrading even to 32gb for the foreseeable future. Looks pretty nice otherwise.

Just curious... how does the performance of this compare to the new Lenovo Legion Go 2 handheld? I'm not good at knowing just from looking at specs anymore.

It's 8gb x 2. I upgraded mine to 32gb x 2 for $130, but that was back in August. That RAM is now listed at $400 🙃.

Figured as much but was slightly confused by the message above "For those wonder what ram you need to go for another 16 GB, it's this part. HMCG78AGBSA095n"

Would it be worth it to upgrade to 32gb 4800 ram (which I have on hand) over the 16gb 5600?

Beware: there is a massive hardware failure issue with the Legion 5i right now. I've received 2 defective laptops that crash randomly. Lenovo's call centers have been bombarded for weeks about this issue. I'd stay away for awhile.

My new Legion 5i Gen 10 Intel (15") with RTX 5070 (15IAX10) should be delivered today. Anything I should do to stress it and see if it's defective? I will be using it to edit photos using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Topaz. I don't play games.

Yea, I'm not sure about that. It definitely has two slots, though.
It was super easy to switch out. I would install the 32gb you have and then upgrade to 64gb after the bubble crashes and RAM prices are reasonable again. I use mine for some gaming and mostly photo editing and the 64gb of memory has made a huge difference.

FWIW, I've been using mine since August, mostly for photo editing, and I haven't had any issues. I would recommend upgrading to 64gb of RAM eventually, though.
