Community Reviews
This Acer Nitro 27 inch WQHD 240Hz IPS monitor stands out as a strong value for gaming and everyday use, with sharp 1440p resolution, a fast 240Hz refresh rate, and enough size and pixel density to work well in a bright office. The price at $149.99 looks unusually low for those specs, and the panel is described as beating pricier refurbished alternatives. The main tradeoff is sparse features, with no USB C, no USB ports, no speakers, and no 3.5mm audio output. It is a stripped down monitor that leans hard on speed and resolution.
Common Questions (5)
No built-in speakers are mentioned, and it reportedly has no 3.5mm speaker/audio port either. Audio must come from the computer or another external source.
At $149.99, the 27-inch QHD IPS 240Hz spec set is considered strong value for the price. It is also shipped and sold by Walmart, and the low price is seen as especially good compared with pricier alternatives.
Yes. The 27-inch WQHD resolution gives decent pixel density and the panel is bright enough for well-lit offices. The 240Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response time are overkill for office work, but they do not hurt.
It is a very bare-bones monitor: no USB-C, no USB ports, no speakers, and only one DisplayPort are mentioned. That stripped-down feature set likely helps explain the low $149 price.
No. The listing does not clearly show the exact model number, which makes it hard to tell whether it matches variants like W2bmiipx or W2bmii. The missing model detail is a practical issue if you are trying to compare panels or specs.

also, this is the first time ive seen a monitor advertising GTG speeds because most companies use MPRT as the industry standard to represent MS because they more accurately represent performance because GTG response times may not always reflect the actual performance of the monitor in real-world scenarios, especially for fast-moving images. The advertisement doesnt flaunt or mention anything about MPRT so that's probably where this low price is coming from because manufacturers aren't required to list MPRT response times if they choose to measure by GTG.
No other 2k 240hz monitor exist for 150$.Remember, you get what you pay for.

mprt is a more accurate measurement of motion blur.
gtg is Gray to Gray pixel transitions. But the measurement is typically from 10% transition to 90% transition. So actual gtg (0-100) will almost always be much higher than the indicted value.
mprt is Moving Picture Response Time
a 1ms GTG can have a 16.7ms MPRT.
