Pretty decent specs for this price, the only other good option is the Refurbished Acer, 32 on Ebay. This one beats it, super good. Tks op.

Would this be a good option for office work? Don't need for gaming specifically
It will perform well for office work. Good size and pixel density, and bright enough for well lit offices. It'll be overkill, because variable refresh rates up to 240Hz and 0.5ms response times don't provide any benefit for office work, but they won't hurt.

Don't see built-in speakers mentioned in the description. Would be nice if it has speakers
It has no speakers, and no speaker 3.5mm port! So you have to get the sound from the computer.

This is like those black tv models, discounted price because its very minimal in features compared to pricier monitors. no type c, no speakers, only 1 display port, no usb ports. Also I believe there is a security lock slot on these monitors, so they were probably made for gaming cafes to buy in bulk.
also, this is the first time ive seen a monitor advertising GTG speeds because most companies use MPRT as the industry standard to represent MS because they more accurately represent performance because GTG response times may not always reflect the actual performance of the monitor in real-world scenarios, especially for fast-moving images. The advertisement doesnt flaunt or mention anything about MPRT so that's probably where this low price is coming from because manufacturers aren't required to list MPRT response times if they choose to measure by GTG.
No other 2k 240hz monitor exist for 150$.Remember, you get what you pay for.

dont forget its up to .5msGTG, not .5MS response times with the standard MPRT that most manufacturers use to measure response times because it more accurately measures the performance in real world applications. This monitors response time is 1ms GTG - .5 GTG but for marketing purposes theyre just showing off "up to .5GTG". Acer opted out of revealing the MRPT response time on their website for the monitor and The monitor is "sold out" on their website so its probably discontinued and they sold a bulk shipment to Walmart because its being sold and shipped by them, not Acer. It has low reviews off the acer website but high on walmart because people received it for promo. Acer choosing to sell a product with only the GTG measurement instead of MPRT is why it probably failed because the only reason to advertise GTG and hide the MPRT is because its most likely over 1ms MPRT, since 1ms and below is what most consumers look at when buying a monitor so it wouldnt make sense to not sell a monitor advertising the 1ms MPRT.
mprt is a more accurate measurement of motion blur.

gtg is Gray to Gray pixel transitions. But the measurement is typically from 10% transition to 90% transition. So actual gtg (0-100) will almost always be much higher than the indicted value.

mprt is Moving Picture Response Time
a 1ms GTG can have a 16.7ms MPRT.
