Community Reviews
This Acer Nitro 27 inch WQHD 240Hz IPS monitor stands out as a strong value for gaming and everyday use, with sharp 1440p resolution, a fast 240Hz refresh rate, and enough size and pixel density to work well in a bright office. The price at $149.99 looks unusually low for those specs, and the panel is described as beating pricier refurbished alternatives. The main tradeoff is sparse features, with no USB C, no USB ports, no speakers, and no 3.5mm audio output. It is a stripped down monitor that leans hard on speed and resolution.
The monitor can work well for office use because 27-inch WQHD provides decent resolution and the panel is bright enough for well-lit rooms.
The deal can deliver strong gaming specs for the money, including 240Hz refresh rate and FreeSync support, which can help smooth gameplay.
The monitor may be a practical upgrade for users who want a high-refresh 27-inch QHD display for both work and gaming.
The monitor lacks built-in speakers and a 3.5mm audio port, so audio must come from the computer or external speakers.
The monitor appears to have reduced connectivity and features versus pricier models, including no USB-C, no USB ports, and only one DisplayPort.
The listing may be confusing because Walmart does not show the exact model details, and the panel identity may be unclear across similar Acer model numbers.
The 240Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms response-time marketing are overkill for office work, so the extra performance may not provide office-specific benefits.
