Says panel type = VA. Isn't IPS better than VA?

They make some solid VA panels, so that's not always true. That said, the nicer models with VA panels usually come with at least HDR400, are back lit and have local dimming zones similar to a budget high end TV, and they typically start around $250ish

It kinda depends on what ya do, they both have pro/cons, if motion clarity matters to you more than IPS is definitely the way to go along with generally having better colors and viewing angles while VA panels generally have better contrast and better blacks.

post pics of your service or doubt it ever happened!

allstate warranties are designed to never pay out, anything over $100 they want you to work with their tech department for over three hours and three calls before they allow a return or repair made.
then on top of that the repair service has the right to take up to 30 days to even begin working on the product. that's right you are out of the product for minimum of 30 days.

Depends. I would take a high-end VA monitor over an entry-level IPS monitor. If they're apples to apples - same market tier, same features, same specs, IPS is generally preferred. But you gotta look at the whole package, because there are good VA monitors and bad IPS monitors.

It's no different in use than a flat monitor. It's supposed to give you a more natural field of view and reduce distortion at the edges. Having used one, I don't know if I buy that, but functionally, you use it just like any other monitor.

You don't need to. The monitor wraps itself around your head, buddy.

Good deal but no height adjustable stand in case you need that. The Acer deal for the 31.5" thankfully does offer this.
