Yep!

But seriously: take it easy. Idk why these basic questions elicit such an intense reaction.

This is Tivo only in name. It doesn't have DVR.

This thing is equivalent to a 4k 4th gen Chromecast but with a better remote and a USB C. It's just has the Tivo app installed. It's old (2019?) but still plenty capable.

The only reason I replaced it was to get av1 capabilities.

Also, it isn't supported by some universal remotes like the sofa baton, but my old Logitech harmony hub still supports it.

Yup, this came out years ago. I'm not sure if it's still getting any security updates. It's similar to the $20 Onn 4k box

awful "deal"..
I guess the question is do you have to watch Disney+ on this device or wherever; if wherever it's an Awsome deal.

Disney+ was a +1k deal @5$ so 5*12(a year)= $60 vs $35

What did you replace it with? What apps are you using for AV1?

The Google Streamer 4k. It might be overkill for what I need, but I wanted to eliminate any outdated specs that might interfere with future local media streaming I plan to do.

There is a nice remote finder feature with the google streamer too, but for some reason it can't turn on my receiver like the Tivo did, even though they both can control the volume.

Looks like this is Disney+ with ads, if anyone is wondering.

The Tivo Stream 4k is a decent device, but getting a bit old and is no longer being updated by Tivo. It's a standard Android TV device running Android TV 10 with some custom Tivo software added to it. It's roughly comparable to the $20 Onn 4k streaming box. The Tivo has a nicer remote, but older Android software.

The main benefit of this box is that you can plug a removable drive via the USB-C port. I was able to play videos on a cruise ship TV through VLC. I believe the next onn box that can do this without a hub is the $40 model.

I have Spectrum and I use a Tivo DVR. Perhaps I'm "grandfathered".

When they stopped carrying Corncob TV, I got rid of Spectrum altogether.

The guys at Spectrum think I'm just some dumb hick. They said that to me at a dinner.

It's a moot point anyway, Tivo just stopped making DVRs

This was the only one Tivo ever made, right?
