Parallels for Mac is a vastly superior product to VirtualBox, well worth the price.

Is there a way to add to to current subscription to add a year? I'm trying but it looks like it only allows me to buy another license, not extend a current one.

It's hard to describe how much I've come to utterly loathe and despise the fact that almost all paid & perpetually-licensed software has moved to recurring subscription models.
Sick & tired of this rent-seeking crap and being squeezed by companies like this.

Yes, you can get a perpetual license, but 1. it's not discounted, and 2. it's only the 'standard' edition with significant limitations.

So, using government accounting methods, this costs $950. The cost spread over ten years. If it was a military expenditure it would be $50. I have a Mac computer. If it was $100 to buy, I would get it. I bought a fusion license 10 years ago for an intel mac. I wonder if it is still valid? If I can find the box.

You can't even buy Parallels anymore; It's a RENTAL

Vmware Fusion is FREE and it natively supports Windows 11. It has a virtual TPM module. Nuff Said!

Made the mistake of buying a Parallels non-subscription license when I had an MBP M1. Upgraded to an M4 Mini (my use case changed) and the Parallels license would not transfer over. Took that as a lesson and moved to Fusion which is free. Works for me so far.
