Finally used this rc car when my nephew was visiting for thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun going fast on the lawn kicking up leaves.
Even set up a ramp (with a long/wide cardboard box) to do jumps on the lawn. i heard you can get better components for it, but nothing broke even with all the jumps we were doing.

Switch to lipo mode and use a lipo battery below for longer run times (charge via Spektrum Smart Charger):

You'll be replacing the brushed motor for a brushless real soon after getting this, but it is a good truck.

Doesnt mattter what battery you use. It will explode if you dont have a good lipo charger.

No need a lipo bag. Those are useless. Make sure to not store the lipo batteries on full change. It needs to be on storage charge 50%. You can also store it in the fridge on a zip lock bag to slow down the degradation. Fridge not freezer.

what a terrible idea, putting poison fire risks in a plastic lined, expensive, appliance, along with your food.
