Deep cleaning and sucking out HVAC drains would be my main uses of these portable wet / dry vacuums. I will keep looking. Maybe HD Lowes ,HF will eventually have a hot deal on a decent one. Also, buying one at those places is better since it is simple to return if it cannot handle those tasks.

I have the small Ridgid 5 which works for my drain cleaning in Florida.
