Existing user can setup a new line to existing address by logging off, selecting plan, inputing address, and selecting "No, I want to create my own additional account at this address", proceed with further steps, then using phone number linked to current account to prompt login to existing profile.
At this point you should be able to pay for service and it should generate a new line of internet to your existing address, which also automates a termination of old account 2 weeks from date of sign up.

One drawback to this is upload and download speeds are not symmetric - the headline advertised speed is the download speed, but upload speeds are typically significantly lower. For example, looking at the Broadband Facts of the 1 Gig plan in my area, they specify typical download speed at 1170 mbps and typical upload speed at 117 mbps. In the past in different areas, I've seen advertised typical upload speeds as low as 20-40 mbps.
That may be perfectly fine for many people, in which case this is a good deal. But make sure to take a look at the upload speed for your area and confirm that it's fast enough for your needs.

2 years ago my "free" mobile line was a $45 monthly discount on my internet plan. This time, the internet plan specifically states it is $110-10 autopay-50 five-year rate plan discount--so my interpretation is that there isn't anything specifically tied to the phone line being part of the $50 price. I was also wary of the phone line being part of the discount, but jumped on it after I saw that it didn't seem to be.

Your S33 and CM1200 won't take advantage of this, but this is only important if you're in a compatible area (not all areas are in the mid-split yet) and in higher tier internet packages (I have the 1.2gbps package, which gives me 100mbps upload instead of 35). But those 2 modems are still supported so all you'd have to do is plug them in and away you go.
But not all tiers or areas can support this "next gen speeds" so YMMV.

Personally I don't see a point in buying a modem anymore since they give them to you for free, and you can put it in bridge mode and turn of the public wifi.
Also your area may not actually be turned on for the better upload speeds even if they say it is. Xifinity said they upgraded my area and it showed online as upgraded (uploads showed 100mbps+ instead of all being capped at 35mbps) but it didn't actually get turned on for a year and half. Also you don't need the higher tier packages to take advantage, even their lowest tier gets an upload boost. I'm on 300mbps now, and I went from like 20mbps upload to 150ish when they finally turned it on.
