I bought these and at first thought L2–L4 weren't heating properly, almost returned them. But after a full charge and testing again, they worked way better than I expected. L3 gets pretty hot on all three sides, just like someone mentioned in the other thread. I usually keep mine on L2 since it's warm enough without the burning feel. Overall, better than I expected.

I bought the black version of this product on Amazon, and it's terrible—it doesn't work well.🥶

I bought the black ones few days ago. They do get a little warm. I was hoping for more warmth. The battery drained real fast. Their utility is very questionable.

I got the black ones from the last sale. They suck. I received bad ones then. I left them on L4 and they did not get hot at all. I am returning mine.

Anyone that bought these, or the previous black ones on sale, how is the charging output? Is it not good, but decent in a pinch? Or just worthless? I don't imagine it can fast charge?

I've personally bought Ocoopa brand, as they have way more reviews, mostly good. I ran some tests and it ran longer than the listed hours, so I'm pretty happy with them. Paid like $12 for them with a coupon. There is a bunch on Amazon, find one that fits your needs. The ones I have are only 2500mah each, so 5000mah total for both, but it's a good size and not too bulky. Gets hot enough on the middle setting.

Pay the few $ extra for reliability and service hopefully.

I like that you're able to charge your phones with these BUT...

10K mAh in these or 5K each is really suspect at this price point.

I got those as well even though I don't like their shape. I trust them in my home more than some no name brand.

Yup. Especially when you're talking about lithium ion batteries, I am trying to minimize the risk of a fire or explosion. Similar to Anker, I would rather pay slightly more to have that additional assurance, and they likely will still be around if you ever need support or warranty replacements. A no name? Haha, they are a dime a dozen on Amazon and will be gone after the holiday season.

That was my experience as well, it does not get hot enough on L2-L4. I think it could be that the device needs to be charged fully first not sure but that fixed the issue and now it is the one i used since it is 3 sided heating element

Yup. Anker and even brands like INNiU will notify us if there's a necessary recall.

Bought a different brand with this same shape and prefer it over the flat ones, especially for running.

I didn't like mine either. Good form factor, easy to read screen but it doesn't do its core job which is heat up. At L4 (4 total steps), this wasn't as warm as another random rechargeable handwarmer at its L1 (3 total steps) setting.
