Community Reviews

A Minecraft Movie is available in 4K digital for $4.99 on Amazon and Apple TV, with a Bonus X Ray Edition also listed at the same price on Amazon. The purchase flow can be confusing because the price may reflect promotional credits, and the confirmation screen shows how much is covered after PIN entry. As a movie, it lands hardest with Minecraft focused kids and less well with viewers who are not familiar with the game. The Bonus X Ray Edition also appears to populate in Movies Anywhere right after purchase, making this a handy digital pickup if the credits math checks out.

It shoes up as "free" for me with the $19.99 crossed out, but says the price reflects my discounts and credits, etc. I have no idea if it's applying a credit and discounts of $4.99 or $19.99. There's only an option to buy it with a click and no cart or anything to see this. I do know if I open it in incognito that it shows $4.99, but the comments above where people are not seeing that price has me second guessing Amazon.
why don't you check you Amazon digital credits?

I'm not sure if it's just posting digital credits or if there are any other things being applied. But that's a good idea. If I have more than $20 or so in digital credit though then I'll still be wondering Smilie

I just wanted to sign in to say that I'm still furious that this movie even exists, what a formulaic, annoying, uninspired cash grab it was.

For me, on my pc, it pops up a screen with small print that says:

Price reflects application of your $4.99 promotional credits. The price before discount is the median price for the last 90 days.

That is how I know how much of my credits it is using.

Is it a good watch? I am bored!

Also is the watch free versions different at ROKU and PLUTO?
I had never really played much Minecraft at all when watching the movie, so I fell asleep. Kids who are Minecraft game crazy, loved it. Since watching the movie I have played a ton of the game now, so I'm thinking I may get more of the references.

I don't get that at all. If I click the button it will immediately go to "purchasing", but only fails to finish because I set up a PIN (so the kids don't just buy everything they want to watch).

Digital No Rush credits can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/norushcredits

The plot thickens for me, because I have $0.00 in credits. I have no idea what is being applied towards this purchase and it's ridiculous that I can't find a way to find out.

This is a good price. But I don't think $20 is the normal price. We paid $10 for it on October 9th. This is helpful, though, as Amazon just returned me back the difference.

I get the screen after I enter my pin.

Thanks for that, though! I think I at least figured out I had $6 credit somehow. I went to different movies in incognito to see the price and then went to them in my account and always saw a discount of $6.

This is the confirmation screen that appears after you enter your PIN. It shows the total amount you'll pay and the portion covered by promotional credits.
