Some people have friends and family they store extra bedding for. Some store out of season clothes. There are plenty of good reasons to store things.

We had those before. They look nice, but the fabric tore after about two years. We switched to the IKEA PARKLA storage case, which has been much stronger.

I don't disagree, but not everyone needs to go buying glorified plastic bags and additional organizers to store things. The storage industry is worth 44 billion dollars today and growing because we keep buying more and more garbage. 1 in 3 people rent storage lockers to store their crap. There are a lot of people that could benefit from stopping a second and asking "Do I really need to spend money on this thing?"
