The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra deal centers on a huge 14.6 inch OLED tablet that shines for media, multitasking, and a brighter, thinner, lighter design, with the free Book Cover Keyboard Slim making the bundle especially appealing. Pricing has ranged wildly, from about $699 down to the low $500s or even under $400 with EPP, app-only discounts, promo code 25SOPDEC10, workplace savings, and Android tablet trade ins. The main catches are that the keyboard promo and coupon have been inconsistent or expired, trade in math can change other discounts, and the keyboard itself is widely described as cheap with no trackpad or S Pen storage. It is a strong value only when the discounts line up.

Common Questions (5)

  • The keyboard cover was included for $0 in some carts, but later it often disappeared or showed as an extra charge instead. The free keyboard promo appears to have been inconsistent and eventually stopped showing for many shoppers.

  • Several shoppers got a lower app price by adding the tablet to cart in the Samsung Shop app, closing and reopening the app, and then applying code 25SOPDEC10. That combination has produced totals like $599, $539.99, and even lower with additional EPP, workplace, or trade-in discounts.

  • Amazon Fire and Kindle Fire tablets were reported as not eligible for the $200 Android tablet trade-in discount, though Samsung service later said Fire tablets would be accepted. Other old Android tablets, including very old Galaxy Tabs and an Acer Iconia A500, were accepted.

  • Prices reported in the thread range from about $699 with EPP and a trade-in down to the low $300s with higher-value tablets like an S10 Ultra or S9 Ultra. Some examples include $384.99 after an S10+ trade-in, $279 with an S10 Ultra trade-in, and $314.99 with an S9 Ultra trade-in plus the free keyboard case.

  • The slim keyboard cover is described as cheap-feeling by several shoppers, and it does not store the S Pen. It also lacks the adjustable kickstand and trackpad features some people liked on older Samsung keyboard covers.

Just got word that my ancient Galaxy Tab 4 was accepted for a $200 trade-in credit. I have another one around here somewhere so I'm gonna try to hunt it down and get it into good shape for a possible future trade-in.

So after 7 months, you had still not received your trade-in value and then they canceled it? Or they provided it initially, and then canceled it after 7 months? Not saying that it did not happen, but I'm not sure how they could do either.
I got trade in value and they wanted to charge me full price for the phone. I had to fight for few weeks to get this resolved. It was not worth the stress and time.

Well, honestly, this deal has been somewhat YMMV since the beginning, I think, with folks claiming different things, like certain discount codes working (sometimes only with a space at the end), that there are different prices on the Samsung app versus website (and sometimes, you have to log out and then log back in to see it, or it has to be your first purchase via the app). I don't really doubt anybody, but the point is that it seems clear that that folks were seeing different things, and that at least for the last week or so, the free keyboard case offer seems to have disappeared for everybody.
I've just set up the S11 Ultra I bought--it was an X-mas gift from somebody. The screen is gorgeous and overall, the tablet feels extremely thin given the size. There's tons of Samsung stuff loaded, much of which essentially duplicates native Android/Google functionality, but this is par for the course with Samsung. Adding on the keyboard case makes it feel quite a bit bulkier and heavier, and the recipient commented on this, so maybe I'll look for a lighter/thinner simple folio case.

I am trading in my s9 for this tablet. My question is do I need to send my galaxy pen/stylus also along with s9 (as galaxy pen came along with s9 tab and it was not a separately bought accessory) or just send the s9 tab without pen for trade in.

In the Terms and Conditions fine print (https://www.samsung.com/us/trade-...onditions/), in the "2. Ship Us Your Trade-In Device" section, it says:

If you trade in a tablet or laptop, do not send the included S-Pen.

I think this is dead. Lowest I can get is $749 without a cover. They're offering $200 off with no trade in. If I select trade in with Android tablet they're also offering $200 off so it doesn't make sense to trade anything in.

Yeah, the epp discount was formerly $300 and today it's $250 so I am seeing the same thing, i.e., lowest price for JUST the S11 Ultra is now $749 versus $699 before today.

The tablet is nice and I was almost thinking of a second one, but I'm not sure if it is $750+ nice. Would one of those ~13" Lenovo Idea Tab Pro tablets at $250 be sufficient? Even though the Samsung will supposedly get updates for a longer period of time, one could essentially buy a brand new tab like the Lenovo above every year for the next three years and only then hit the same price as the S11 Ultra.

I can get it for $400+tax with $650 tab S9 ultra trade in and Education discount, for the 512GB, including free Book Cover Keyboard Slim - Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Is this a good deal?

Honestly, the real question is how much of a difference is it to trade in "any" tablet. If it's relatively close (IE: <$200 difference), you're likely better off selling the S9 Ultra on Swappa and trading in a cheap-o Android tablet. Or just handing down the S9U to a family member. Obviously, it depends on your appetite for all that.

Selling on swappa is pain

Don't kick yourself to hard... so many issues with these new S11 tablets. And the bloatware is like 5 times more then the Tab S9 and Samsung's AI has been documented to spy on you.

And to debloat this to your best you need a PC and the software is called... ADB (Android Debug Bridge).. and expect to spend 5+ hours vetting every single thing you can delete with chatgpt and Gemini (you can not rely on just one) and even Grok. Samsung has installed hundreds of apps... really it may take 20+ hours (vet it with all three AI's). And what can not be deleted perhaps you can disable... but realize that Samsung enable's some of your disabled software after updates.

I will add that ONLY SAMSUNG Devices had the most serious issue of any tablet manufacturer.... So if you did your banking on a S9 or S10 series, you are vulnerable... having your OS upto date did not help. And this vulnerability lasted for over a year. Like your Android 11device with no more updates was a much safer choose to use then your brand new S25 ultra... THAT IS CRAZY.

Samsung flagship devices were vulnerable to a "major zero-click attacks" throughout 2024 and early 2025. This vulnerability allowed attackers to compromise phones without any user interaction! It is the only zero click compromise spyware that I know of since like Android 7. And it only effected Samsung devices. The Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S10 series were technically vulnerable due to shared software components. No one knows how much info got stolen or leaked from the tens of millions of devices throughout the world.

The April 2025 security patch finally fixed this issue.

To put this in perspective... no other tablet including chines tablets were vulnerable like Samsung devices, since at least Android 11 (probably since Android 7). For other tablets, to get spyware installed on your device you needed to be fooled and the user (YOU) needed to have installed it physically. Phishing or sideloading something that you think you need, etc... ONLY SAMSUNG devices (and I am talking about their best of the best S25 ultra, etc... were vulnerable to zero click attacks... that means you breath air and unknowing, the hacker has installed what they want on your phone. This is the company EVERYONE TRUSTS. And the new Samsung SCAM is this appcloud app that is installed on many millions of devices (technically not in north America).

And Samsung's new AI, regarding the task at hand... they upload it to the cloud for higher processing speeds and they claim they do not keep your info, but google, Facebook and apple have previously said the same thing... so I will just assume this is another corporate lie.

Lastly, the vulnerability that Samsung had is called LANDFALL.
