You lose the anti-reflective screen coating.
You lose the dual front cameras.
The battery is rated for only 1200 cycles instead of the S10U's 2000 cycles (but real world performance can't be fully tested yet).
You lose haptic feedback. The S11U does not have a vibration sensor.
With the S11 Ultra you gain: a brighter screen, a redesigned S-pen (some like it better for drawing), and a slightly thinner profile. The new processor and GPU will also play games and render videos faster.
Community Reviews
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra deal centers on a huge 14.6 inch OLED tablet that shines for media, multitasking, and a brighter, thinner, lighter design, with the free Book Cover Keyboard Slim making the bundle especially appealing. Pricing has ranged wildly, from about $699 down to the low $500s or even under $400 with EPP, app-only discounts, promo code 25SOPDEC10, workplace savings, and Android tablet trade ins. The main catches are that the keyboard promo and coupon have been inconsistent or expired, trade in math can change other discounts, and the keyboard itself is widely described as cheap with no trackpad or S Pen storage. It is a strong value only when the discounts line up.

I've just set up the S11 Ultra I bought--it was an X-mas gift from somebody. The screen is gorgeous and overall, the tablet feels extremely thin given the size. There's tons of Samsung stuff loaded, much of which essentially duplicates native Android/Google functionality, but this is par for the course with Samsung. Adding on the keyboard case makes it feel quite a bit bulkier and heavier, and the recipient commented on this, so maybe I'll look for a lighter/thinner simple folio case.
If you trade in a tablet or laptop, do not send the included S-Pen.

The tablet is nice and I was almost thinking of a second one, but I'm not sure if it is $750+ nice. Would one of those ~13" Lenovo Idea Tab Pro tablets at $250 be sufficient? Even though the Samsung will supposedly get updates for a longer period of time, one could essentially buy a brand new tab like the Lenovo above every year for the next three years and only then hit the same price as the S11 Ultra.

And to debloat this to your best you need a PC and the software is called... ADB (Android Debug Bridge).. and expect to spend 5+ hours vetting every single thing you can delete with chatgpt and Gemini (you can not rely on just one) and even Grok. Samsung has installed hundreds of apps... really it may take 20+ hours (vet it with all three AI's). And what can not be deleted perhaps you can disable... but realize that Samsung enable's some of your disabled software after updates.
I will add that ONLY SAMSUNG Devices had the most serious issue of any tablet manufacturer.... So if you did your banking on a S9 or S10 series, you are vulnerable... having your OS upto date did not help. And this vulnerability lasted for over a year. Like your Android 11device with no more updates was a much safer choose to use then your brand new S25 ultra... THAT IS CRAZY.
Samsung flagship devices were vulnerable to a "major zero-click attacks" throughout 2024 and early 2025. This vulnerability allowed attackers to compromise phones without any user interaction! It is the only zero click compromise spyware that I know of since like Android 7. And it only effected Samsung devices. The Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S10 series were technically vulnerable due to shared software components. No one knows how much info got stolen or leaked from the tens of millions of devices throughout the world.
The April 2025 security patch finally fixed this issue.
To put this in perspective... no other tablet including chines tablets were vulnerable like Samsung devices, since at least Android 11 (probably since Android 7). For other tablets, to get spyware installed on your device you needed to be fooled and the user (YOU) needed to have installed it physically. Phishing or sideloading something that you think you need, etc... ONLY SAMSUNG devices (and I am talking about their best of the best S25 ultra, etc... were vulnerable to zero click attacks... that means you breath air and unknowing, the hacker has installed what they want on your phone. This is the company EVERYONE TRUSTS. And the new Samsung SCAM is this appcloud app that is installed on many millions of devices (technically not in north America).
And Samsung's new AI, regarding the task at hand... they upload it to the cloud for higher processing speeds and they claim they do not keep your info, but google, Facebook and apple have previously said the same thing... so I will just assume this is another corporate lie.
Lastly, the vulnerability that Samsung had is called LANDFALL.
