You lose the bluetooth function in the S-pen, as well as the magnetic s-pen storage on the back.
You lose the anti-reflective screen coating.
You lose the dual front cameras.
The battery is rated for only 1200 cycles instead of the S10U's 2000 cycles (but real world performance can't be fully tested yet).
You lose haptic feedback. The S11U does not have a vibration sensor.


With the S11 Ultra you gain: a brighter screen, a redesigned S-pen (some like it better for drawing), and a slightly thinner profile. The new processor and GPU will also play games and render videos faster.

I just bought this on Black Friday. Without trade-in. After 10% off code MILNOV25. Which was for those with Military Discount Account. Came out to the following:
  • Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (Wi-Fi) ($629.99)
  • Book Cover Keyboard Slim ($85.05)
  • Galaxy Buds3 ($30.24)
  • Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) 47mm, LTE ($277.19)

I ended up getting all 4. Got the Galaxy Buds3 in Silver and the Galaxy Watch Ultra in Titanium Blue. Total was $1022.47 + $84.34 (taxes) = $1,106.81. Total Savings $1,217.49. Also upgrading from a Galaxy Tab S4.
Agree this is a solid deal, but to clarify there was a second deal from a couple days ago that was $599 including the tablet and keyboard cover, with no trade in. Bought and received this deal. I believe it was a glitch as it was not active for very long and took some fiddling to get it in the cart.

what tf.. i just bought the s11 ultra for 699$ wihtout keyboard during bf.. now samsung is screwing me over with a lower price AND a free keyboard.. come on.. do they like dealing with a ton of returns??

edit;;; ok i cannot reproduce 600$.. but still able to get 699$ WITH keyboard.. reordered and returning the previous..

Same, it's about the same product we got in 2022, it was ahead of it's time. S8 Ultra says it's worth $700 tradein, which sounds incredible, but then you see it reduces other discounts and really ends up giving only $300ish more than a 10 year old junk tablet. The improvements are pretty obvious, more RAM, storage, CPU/GPU speed, Wifi 7 and the screen is brighter/antireflective. The improvements are noticeable but not essential, maybe check again in 3 years.

I wouldn't risk it. I've stories on slickdeals about those being rejected which causes the trade-in discount to be voided. Last years promo on the S10+, I bought a generic android tablet from FB Marketplace for around 20-40 bucks.
