You lose the bluetooth function in the S-pen, as well as the magnetic s-pen storage on the back.
You lose the anti-reflective screen coating.
You lose the dual front cameras.
The battery is rated for only 1200 cycles instead of the S10U's 2000 cycles (but real world performance can't be fully tested yet).
You lose haptic feedback. The S11U does not have a vibration sensor.


With the S11 Ultra you gain: a brighter screen, a redesigned S-pen (some like it better for drawing), and a slightly thinner profile. The new processor and GPU will also play games and render videos faster.

Looks like the PayPal 20% cash back 4-pay ended yesterday. That plus the 10% off coupon, black Friday savings, and some bonus saving I don't know where it came from, and EPP, got this last week without the case and without a trade for about $466 out the door (including tax). They even did free overnight shipping.

Does anyone use this for sheet music? I wonder about glare and how easy it is on the eyes. This size is I think the closest to a regular letter size page.

I traded my s10 ultra for this+ free keyboard. Came out to $279. At least a piece of mind having a new 1 year warranty and new battery. Plus a case keyboard. The upgrade doesnt matter much (brighter screen, louder speakers, faster cpu/gpu, thinner and lighter) but I'll take them too

I've been considering the same thing. I currently use a Lenovo Tab P12 for sheet music which has a 12.7" screen. Many colleagues use the IPad pro with a 12.9" screen. The biggest difference I notice is the aspect ratio. Mine is taller and skinnier (in portrait orientation), and the IPad is shorter and wider.

I thought the 14.6 would be much wider, but due to the 16:10 aspect ratio, it's about the same width as the IPad pro. The extra height isn't terribly useful for sheet music.

If you do go with an Android tab for sheet music, I highly recommend the Mobilesheets app. It's a one-time purchase and works well. Good luck!

I am struggling deciding whether or not to snag one of these. For the price it is great, my alternative would be to get the iPad Pro M5. My uses will be purely entertainment consumption as well as Fortnite/Call of Duty.

I've had them both, the iPad stayed, the s ultra left. The iPad is just a much more complete package, it's just better
