You lose the bluetooth function in the S-pen, as well as the magnetic s-pen storage on the back.
You lose the anti-reflective screen coating.
You lose the dual front cameras.
The battery is rated for only 1200 cycles instead of the S10U's 2000 cycles (but real world performance can't be fully tested yet).
You lose haptic feedback. The S11U does not have a vibration sensor.


With the S11 Ultra you gain: a brighter screen, a redesigned S-pen (some like it better for drawing), and a slightly thinner profile. The new processor and GPU will also play games and render videos faster.

i think it's a fair price for upgrade.
im going slightly diff route/more work. buy the s11 ultra with keyb for 699$, sell the keyboard and my s8 ultra on side. s8u currently can go for ~500, keyb for another ~100-125.. reducing my upgrade to ~100-200

For those who bought the S11 Ultra with the previous deal like me (599 no keyboard) you can try to request just the keyboard via chat. I just did so and though it took a bit of back and forth in the end they agreed to send me a code that brings the cost of the keyboard to zero.

So YMMV but worth a shot!

I can't believe my luck. I got this for $539.99 before taxes! I was frustrated that I was getting $699. I tried on a new EPP account. This was still showing $699 but adding 25SOPDEC10 code was bringing it down to $629. Was going to pull the trigger on this but then I closed the app and re-opened it. It immediately showed an lower price of 539.99 with message that an offer was added to my cart. I think waiting before ordering and closing/opening the app helped add that offer. I was doing this on the app installed on iPhone. Maybe this can help someone trying to get a good price. I will be sending in a really old Samsung tablet as trade in.
