I didn't see anyone post this but this is a Cyber Monday deal, and it is still up.

This is Wirecutter's top recommended luggage.

Ideal for long trips or multiple people, this bag also has a tip-resistant tapered expansion option that increases packing capacity another 2" when needed. A fold-out suiter guards against wrinkles and a deluxe interior tie-down system with integrated accessory pockets keeps everything organized and in place.

Inside, the ECOFAB™ lining of this spinner is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles to help reduce environmental waste, then treated with H2O guard for moisture resistance.

Design details include scuff-resistant, stain-resistant fabric, leather accents, chrome zippers and an integrated, TSA-compliant lock . Mobility is effortless with the PrecisionGlide®system–eight MagnaTrac® self-aligning spinner wheels guided by an adjustable PowerScope extension handle with patented Contour Grip, designed for a comfortable handhold and accented with soft, rubberized touch points. Backed by our Built for a Lifetime Limited Worry Free Warranty.

Note: The Intrigue Black colorway features gold-finish zippers instead of chrome.

Oversized: 66.75 linear inches. You might be forced to pay additional fees.

Plus, it's easy to overstuff a large back leading to an overweight bag as well.

143 liters is a lot of volume to fill. the bag itself is 11.5lbs so only 38.5lbs of stuff before it gets overweight.

Excellent bag, I have it in the medium grey color. The main zipper pulls that lock into the built in TSA lock are easily snagged and broken if not locked. The third trip I took this bag on I didn't lock it and one of the pulls was missing when I went to retrieve the bag at baggage claim. I expect Travelpro will fix it for free under warranty but I imagine it will be a hassle to do so, so not sure how I will navigate, any advice card on direct experience is much appreciated 👍🏻

Had this happen to me, lost both zippers and the bag wouldn't close. Submitted a claim with TravelPro, sent them some pics of the damage, and they sent a replacement suitcase about a week later. Easiest warranty claim I've ever made.

All the bags are made in same factory the Ross samsonite travel pro they put other names on them like wrangler and a few others they only seem to change side strap
I was looking at bags from $60 to $90
They were exact same bag the $60 bag had 2 year warranty the $90 bag had 5 year warranty some bags had different side strap but were same bag I looked at about 6 brands
The Ross Travelpro's aren't on the same level as the Platinum Elite though and they don't have the magnatrac wheels that are on the Platinum Elite. I bought a B&R Baseline and while the bottom is nice and flat, I still prefer how easy it was to push the Travelpro.

Who cares. It's a bag.

It's not like buying a car.

Hey there, I purchased 10 of these as I was taking an assignment overseas, so my family and I needed bigger ones to bring stuff back and forth. I had same thing happen. They were actually good and on both sides of the pond. I put a claim in Europe with Travelpro since we were living here and they sent me a replacement, and then I did a separate claim in US and they also replaced. One thing that did upset me a tad, was that on a third claim where a wheel broke off, they sent me a full set of four replacement wheels and they sent for free, but I had to pay like 30 in shipping due to weight. So wish they would have jsut sent the one single wheel I needed to replace
