I hate drywall cutout tools. They suck, they waste your time adjusting the depth, they don't control the cuts the way they're advertised, they make huge messes, and the bits are expensive and have only a single purpose use. And they suck. You are much better off using an oscillating blade tool. Drywall barely imlacts the blade's sharpness and it cuts faster and runs longer and is much easier to control while cutting a shirt or long straight line or a geometric square or rectangle. Overall don't waste your money on this unnecessary tool

They have their uses. You may find them difficult to use and impractical but if you do drywall on a regular basis, cutting openings blind with an oscillator is so much more tedious and slow. Jab saw would probably be faster. It is a dedicated tool, that's why the bits only have a single purpose use, just like drill bits
