It was great when the Jackrabbit dot com had their sales. After fleet feet bought them, I don't see any amazing sales from that website anymore

ah yes! that's where I got it from previously. totally forgot about JR. i remember getting gel kayanos and adrenalines from them yearly from like 2016-2022 or something. i didn't run much from 2020-2024 and had 2 pairs throughout all those years (probably a bad idea since they were probably wearing out from just being old even if I didn't have 500 miles on them)

nonrelated to the above, is there any disadvantage to buying weatherized over non-weatherized? i'm running in doors 95% of the time so don't really need weatherized shoes but if it's the same price, then is there any actual downside to buying them?

They can run hotter / sweatier as they breathe less. Some folks think the material is a bit more rigid and uncomfortable, but for me, it's just the lack of breathability I've noticed. If you are 95% indoors, I would not get the weatherized version.

What makes these different than the 25's? I recently bought the 25s for heel support and they have been amazing. For 100 dollars, I wouldn't mind buying another pair if they are similar

Lookup instep blister issues with this model. Wore Adrenalines for 15+ years, had to return these. Mileage may vary.

I bought the adrenaline 24 gtx (gortex) to do yard work in due to my bone spurs and plantar fasciitis, doc said to wear shoes all the time. The only thing I notice in them is my feet get sweaty with socks on. But with almost all indoor I'd not buy these. I would however consider the ghost max 2/3 or the adrenaline 24 without weatherized. If you are a Disney adult, there are some Disney themed ghost max 2's on the brooks website. No discounts there but still.

I train in Brooks almost every day doing 200miles/month. I love Brooks, but I probably would pass on these shoes just because of the heat issue. Sometimes the Ghosts get down to around $80 on a crazy slick deal, but this is a decent peoce for this shoe. This might be a good shoe if you do a lot of trail/xC that isn't too technical - I have trail shoes, but honestly only use them for super technical running and just default to my road shoes most of the time.

Beyond what others' have said, I've found that waterproof shoes take a lot longer to dry than non-waterproof shoes. Plus, I've had the waterproof membrane of some shoes split before the midsole was worn. On the flip side, I've also found the mesh footbox panel of some Brooks shoes let dust in and make my toes dusty, which is a weird feeling. A waterproof membrane should prevent that from happening.

I'm trying these out indoors and my feet are getting really sweaty
