Little dated, but cheapest I've ever seen this model. It's quite good at this price imo.

Not a good price. It's too late now but from Black Friday to 12/1 or 12/2, Lenovo had a 7i with a 5080 for around 2k. Capital One shopping had a 30% cashback offer with a 1k cashback limit that was easy to attain. And if you wanted to go all out, you could get the 5090 version for like $400 more than this, as it was priced at $3100 something. edit: Even if the 5080 7i is a few hundred more now, it's still much cheaper than this after the cashback offer that should still be available.

It seems you are not well-versed in laptops. It's not just about the GPU. First of all, the 7i is a gaming laptop; this is a creator laptop. The Legion 7i is a 16", while this is an 18". This also comes with a 4K mini-LED, which the 7i does not. Please find me a creator laptop with a 5080 or 5090 and this display for this price.
