1.5ml = about 15 sprays, so you can probably get about 2 wearings out of each of these.
Nordstrom will give you as many samples as you want*, from any fragrances they have in the store (excluding extraits) for free. Just ask them, they'll fill up a sprayer for you, no cost, you don't even need to buy anything. Lately, I've been seeing stores that have the empty vials + sprayers sitting out for you to fill yourself, and it includes the niche/higher priced ones. Kind of crazy, but it's also crazy for them to expect you to drop $300-400 on a scent you smelled off a paper in the store, so I appreciate it.
Somehow over the last few years, fragrances jumped from $100-130 for a designer brand up to $200-250 for the same designer (not talking niche - talking chanel, Dior, etc.), travel sprays dropped from 10-15ml down to 7.5ml and prices shot up to $60 a piece, and these free samples that are supposed to get you to want to buy a fragrance turned into a product of their own, with salespeople trying to bribe you with them if you spend $100+ or selling them in sets like these. Its kind of crazy

Nice tip about Nordstroms but am wondering what caveat the * was gonna be I couldn't find it 😅

Something like Lost Cherry, the Maison Margiela scents or CH Men don't last long at all and need a few extra sprays.. something like Ombre Nomade or YSL Cuir last all day on 1-2 sprays.
Only caveat with the * at Nordy's is finding someone to fill them for you, and them possibly 'cutting you off' on samples. Most seem to really only care since it makes their hands smell like fragrance (they literally spray the retail bottle into a refillable 2ml vial) and the time/effort it takes away from them being able to sell. They're much more outgoing and excited if you buy something, but even getting 5-6 different samples without buying anything.. they never seemed to mind or put a limit to them. I imagine there might be a point where they say "This is the last one I'm going to do", but as far as I'm aware that isn't the policy.
They would fill samples of the highest priced stuff they had, but they usually won't fill Extrait fragrances or if it's a new release that is running low on their sample bottles (most of the new release Tom Ford stuff).
Compared to Neiman, Saks and Macy's (who heavily push you to buy something to get ANY samples), they're very customer-friendly when it comes to sampling and even purchasing (ability to return if you don't like it, opposed to somewhere like neiman where the sales are final).
The Nordstrom's I've seen lately actually have boxes of the sample vials sitting in the aisles for you to fill yourself.. so my guess is they don't care so much about giving them out, moreso they don't want employees filling them all day
