That's not a deal in my book unless it comes down to $450. Curious to see what the price of Amazon's open box 9950X's look like since I was able to snag my current 9900X for around $306 during Prime Day this past July since Amazon surreptitiously took off an add'l 30% from those processors in "Used - Mint" condition during checkout.

Still mad at myself for not pulling the trigger on a used 9950x on Amazon when they had 30% off amazon resale items. Could of snagged one for $388...
Oh shit, you read my mind... I just commented a/b this in regards to my 9900X I purchased from Amazon Resale over this past summer.

I paid $620 for one of these when I came out last year and it's still over $500 a year and a half later. Are we getting into used car resell value phenomenon from the COVID era?

Yes, I have a 9950x machine with 256GB RAM.

The RAM cost $700 less than 3 months ago; it's not almost $3000.

AMD already beat Intel but since Nvidia CEO is related to AMD CEO we can expect anti-competitive market manipulation. What a shame those non-elected tech CEOs are all now swaying the government so heavily.
