Quite the opposite actually. The films that looks best in 4K are those filmed natively in 4K today and those actually on film that have been re-scanned in 4K (or sometimes 8K) today. Many of my oldest movies on 4K UHD are some of the best-looking. It's the digitally-filmed stuff in the later 90s through 2010ish I find that do not benefit much from a simple up-scale. The Shining, Blade Runner and Lawrence of Arabia are right up there with modern stuff... Not to mention the often superior storylines too. The Sean Connery Bond films look absolutely stunning in 4K and this is the best price I have seen on this set without discount codes.

I love Bond. I'm a Bond-head. But $70 for 6 movies? Yeesh! They're streaming on Pluto TV now, I think. True it's not in 4K, but I dunno if the upgrade is worth $70+.
$30-40 would be the price point where I'd consider this a good deal.

I agree. They were not filmed in 4k so maybe they have been remastered. But probably not much difference than the dvd version. And unless you wanted to sell the digital or the disc, price point seems to high.

Well they were shot on 35mm film, which can have even better resolution than digital 4k

Still, the price point is too high.

That's your subjective opinion. Many would consider $11.83 each for these gems to be a bargain.

I agree with you - I was impressed with "To Catch a Thief" looks stunning with all the French Riviera views in 4K. I am a James Bond fan, I do have all the BluRays and probably the last time I ever used a disk was over 10 years ago. I keep my collection of many disks, it is just collecting dust in boxes somewhere. Not sure if $71 is worth it, for something that will probably never be used.

Good thinking! If I remember correctly, the $35 Daniel Craig collection deal came right around when the digital code was about to expire. For Sean Connery, that's still a few years away.
