Do these fit on the 4100/5100? Basically, are they made to fit on all models?

They had them a while back at Costco, but I know Sam's also sells them. Like 8 for $60.

I've received Oral-B fakes from Amazon too.

Prefer costco -- less likely to be counterfeit ones

Any best and easy way just to look and can tell right away fake/counterfeit versus genuine real ones?

There's a huge difference between buying 2 for $12 and 8 for $60, in terms per brush cost, initial cash outlay, and risk of not needing some of the brushes. If you have multiple people in a family using the same brush heads, it works, but Sonicare has been known to change the style of brushheads used by their toothbrushes - I have a box of about 6 of the Essence brushheads because mine died, and they were no longer manufacturing that brush.

That being said, Costco has 8 of the C3 brushes for $49 in store when they're on sale (about every 4 months) and they were on sale about a week ago.
And, with Costco, you don't have the risk of counterfeits that Amazon poses.

I bought replacement heads from a seller on amazon. Was 95% convinced they were legit, down to the look of the product and packaging. But the quality of the plastic seemed off. I wasn't sure if it was due to manufacturing changes or them being fake. I then realized the heads had the symbol at the base indicating they had an RFID chip in them. I found a free app called "NFC Tools" that I was able to use my phone to scan for the RFID chip. Scan reported nothing. Then tried to scan my old heads I got from Costco, and they all scanned fine! So, for now it seems a good way to tell fake/real once you've already bought it. Prior to buying, it's anyone's guess (unless Costco or other trusted retailer).
