Dyson Zone is a very unusual noise cancelling headphone and air purifier combo, with strong sound, solid build quality, and an app that tracks air quality, filter life, and purifier levels. The visor and purifier can make it feel immersive, and the Absolute Plus adds a carrying case, airplane adapter, and different colorway. The biggest drawback is the weight, which can feel bricklike and cause neck or shoulder discomfort over long use, and the purifier battery life is poor. Filters are discontinued, so the air cleaning side may lose value over time, making this more of a novelty if the bulk does not bother you.
Common Questions (5)
They are very heavy compared with normal headphones and can feel like a brick on your head. Some users find them usable, but prolonged wear can cause neck and shoulder discomfort, especially with the purifier running.
The sound is generally described as good or very decent, with strong build quality, but not class-leading. The main tradeoff is that the unusual look, weight, and discontinued filter system can outweigh the audio value for some buyers.
Yes. The Absolute+ adds a carrying case, airplane headphone adapter, and a different colorway for about $20 more. The non-Plus model also includes a case, but it is a different sturdy case without a handle.
The filters are reportedly discontinued, and once backstock runs out the purification function becomes useless. That makes the air-cleaning feature a limited-use purchase rather than a long-term one.
No. It does not support AptX or LDAC, and it instead supports LDHC, which is mainly used on Chinese phones.

The build quality is very good and again sound is very decent. I own several planar and other high dollar headpbones and these are very competent. The weight is something you will feel and if you are used to lightweight headphone these will feel like a brick strapped to your head.
At this price these are a deal as long as you are ok with the weight. The visor is optional so take it or leave it.
