It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Doesn't that mean that the gift card is on a per line basis for a total of $1,200 and not a total of $300 for the entire order?

Can someone who has taken advantage of similar promotions shed some light on how to submit the claim for those gift cards?
I have the same question. The terms $300 Verizon Gift Card Offer are not clear at all. It is written for someone getting a single line, but does not address adding multiple lines for multiple gift cards.

It's $130/month, not $100. Spent all day yesterday dealing with bait and switch and poor service. Can't login to the site. Verizon is a real mess. Proceed with caution and low expectations.

Use this website
The problem is not in the submission. The problem is figuring out what the code is. I feel it is intentional that the code is not shared so that the 60 day period would run off

Quote from CompTechhy1 :
I had gotten a better deal from ATT a while back. 80/mo after discounts/promos and 5 free iPhones + about $1300 back in cash/prepaid gift cards through a few different ways. So they were paying us to use their service and if we stayed more than 3 years then they "win"
It makes more sense to go with visible/USM for effectively $15-$25/mo for the highest tier of service because a lot of these ATT/Verizon promos only offer the "starter" service (which is fine if you're not in congested areas or use Wi-Fi calling frequently)

You would be surprised how many people forget to change companies, switch, re-quote auto insurance every 6 months, forget to turn off subscriptions, etc...
I have seen it even with my "smart" friends who have advanced degrees - they'll have 5-6 subscriptions pulling $150+ monthly and they dont remember signing up for or what they even do and they say "i'll get to it later". This is what companies rely on. Someone signs up for the promo and stays even when price goes up... or signs up without reading fine print and ends up "violating" the contract and paying a fee
That has nothing to do with "smart". Some people prefer not to go through the hassle or switching, finding different quotes every six months, or canceling when time is up. That doesn't mean they are stupid either. I've seen people paying more than $200 a month for cable and rarely have time to watch or just watch a channel or two. There are also no shortages of those subscribing to numerous services that they rarely use but to them, it's better to have it than don't in case they need it. There will always be selected people like this. Go to any supermarket and you will see that there are no shortages of shoppers don't load coupons and paying sticker price. Credit card payment is another. Common sense is to pay off every billing cycle to avoid interest but many card holders don't.
