It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Rule number one: Having an advanced degree does not make someone "smart," it just says they've been educated through some program. Far too many prople are educated into being stupid these days. Being smart is more internal and shows an ability to figure things out for oneself.
To add onto this... Being smart also means knowing your time is valuable and sometimes, if it isn't quick and convenient, you could simply work an hour or two a month extra to pay for 'forgotten expenses' until you finally realize it (not very financially smart lol) or pay for yet another subscription that helps you sus out said forgotten subscriptions. Time is money.

I did this on the last offer, 16pro. I had a hard time getting everything setup, mostly because of the port process, spent probably 20 hours over 3-4 months to get things right. Eventually they got everything right, and my monthly bill is 120 with tax/fees included. The $300 rebate was the toughest to obtain, I eventually never received it, but they gave me 2-$150 account credits after multiple inquiries.

Screenshot the whole process as you check out, you may need it to get everything they offered you after the fact.

Depends on what you think is a "deal". Pricing is decent for a family planning to stick with Verizon for three years. They have indeed the best coverage as a whole.
The problem is after two months, the phone is unlocked but you can't "leave" and use a cheaper plan elsewhere because you are still on the hook to recoup the credits amounting to 1100.
This is not a contract and yet, it is a contract of sorts.
Where they make money is (y)our temptation to upgrade/trade in for a better Iphone when the next best thing comes out. Then, basically, you swap out the current handset for a new one and continue to stick with them and their plan pricing.
If you are disciplined and won't be tempted by Iphone 18 Pro, 19, whatever, then yes, roughly, $29 (after taxes) per person x 36 = 1054(ish) is what you are paying for full on Verizon service and a "free" device"
Where are you going to get a plan cheaper than $25/month?

is it really 100 dlls a month plus taxes?
There's a $20 surcharge $10 tax = $129 for 4 lines, in the condition that you apply autopay from either Checking/savings or Verizon Card, or else $169 for 4 lines.

Once in a while, there is something insane comes along. This is one of those deals, should be 300+ upvotes. To me, "Welcome unlimited" is insanely better than "free talk and text after 9 pm" we used to get back in the day. Again, 4 lines for $100 feels like this was dropped from heaven by Santa Claus himself. I am farking old, at 43. When I first came to america we used to get flip fone from AT&T and T-Mobile for $50 a month. This is reminiscent of getting free BlackBerry and Moto razr and for us Older millennials Christmas came early. The younglings that complain about this offer, you have no idea what we older generations had it back in the day.

The verification is atrocious. I've never seen a verification that took so long in this electronic age.

cheaper model gets more credit coverage, while the more expensive one leaves leftover cost you must pay
It's a common carrier pricing trick, not a scam, but definitely misleading for customers comparing models.
They're not robbing you…
But they are charging more than the real difference in phone cost — because their credits don't scale with the model.

You can also mix/match these phones as well:
iPhone Air 256, iPhone 16 Pro Max 512, Galaxy S25 128, Pixel 10 Pro 256, Pixel 10 Pro XL 256

Can somebody PM me which cashback site is doing $150? I tried the usual suspects and the best I can find is $75. Thanks!

I just got this email from the "what's in your wallet" EEK!
