- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.
While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

I suspect that you can start a 1 line account and add additional lines later and still receive this "National Discount". If so to maximize this deal I would:
1) Go through a cashback website (currently $100 per new account or new additional line.
2) Order online for 1 iPhone/1 Line for local pickup (to activate and create an account as fast as possible
3) add the $300 GC offer
4) Activated service and create an online account.
5) repeat steps 1 - 3 for each additional line you want, either for shipping or store pickup.
6) contact customer support and request the $40 activation fees to be waived/credited.
For 4 lines you should end up with $400 cashback and $1200 worth of gift cards.
Also look up the Number Transfer trick. You likely will trigger a $10 or $20 monthly credit per line for 12 months.

I have no idea how you'd get the code without using customer service, but I believe this is the code that everybody is getting. Perhaps it's on your email receipt of your order confirmation?
I've tried "linking an order" using the order number but it says order does not exist or already linked elsewhere... so odd.
