It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

Does anyone know this? Once we get these new Verizon phones, do we have to activate our line (port in own number) on these new phone? Or can we activate the lines to our old existing phones and keep those new Verizon phones sealed in the box?
Phones are tied to numbers that they are assigned to. You will need to activate the phone then swap out, otherwise how you can unlock them in 60 days

Went to the store they matched the deal. Waived the activation fee and gave me $500 gift card to pay off one of the phone.

Instead of $300 gift card they gave me $300 bill credit, that was the only difference. Saved $140 on activation.

If you do the math:
Tax on four phones: $390
Per month cost $100 + $20(tax) =$120
Total you pay for three years: $120x 36 =$4,320

Deduct the $300 gift card: $4320-$300=$4,020

Effective cost per phone: $4020/4=$1,005

So you basically save less than $100 compared to if you were to buy a new iPhone 17Pro.
This offer makes sense for someone who is looking to get new service as well since you get free service with but you still pay the full price of the phone over three years. Doesn't make sense to get this if you are looking to just use the phones and continue with your existing service.

Gift card: $300
Basically, you get a free phone with the price of a service plan! You could be paying $22-25/line with old legacy plans or MVNOs, but with just $5 extra, you get free phones. If you have a family with kids, this would be the best! Also, iPhones have the best resale value. These iPhones would be unlocked in 60 days, and you can still sell them for $200-250 less.

After a long time, this promo blows anything offered previously! Before, per-line price was $30-40, and you'd have to be on a high-tier plan to get an ideal deal to switch. Lot of people wanted phone upgrades from their current carrier, but they couldn't qualify unless they upgraded to a current high-priced plan, so it'll be beneficial to them.

If you're single, then yes, you could afford $800-1k unlocked phones every year, but people with families can't and would hesitate to spend $5k in one go, even with financing, they would still have to pay for phone service. This promo gives them both for just $120-130!

Depends on how and where you use the line. I am in chicago suburb, service is great with welcome plan. I used to be on plus plan, but I have no use of hotspot so I downgraded to welcome, have not noticed anything different and it saves me $15 / month.

You call and give them whatever information they need to release the order. It's a hit or miss but seems like more misses than hits.

The T-Mobile Keep and Switch promo doesn't seem to qualify, as this deal has a $0.00 device payment over 36 months.
This will qualify for the tmobile promo. There is indeed a device payment that gets an offsetting monthly bill credit to zero out the device payment. When you terminare service by porting out to tmobile the remaining device balance will be due.

You are confusing others with your math. You still get a service for 3 years. $25 of service per month for 36 months = $900. So, phone basically costs $100. Hope this makes sense.

I chatted with the agent, they are splitting it for me.

I did 5 lines for $130/month, with 5 free phones, waived activation and $300 giftcard.
2 Iphone 17 Pro ($1100 each)
3 Iphone 16 Pro Max 512GB ($1300 each)

Ended up being $180+$30 in taxes -$50 in auto pay = $160/month

$446 was due today for taxes on the 5 phones. The two cali lines got me though. $111 each phone. The other 3 phones were $224 total.

No insurance. If a phone dies, go back to our old phone.

also, be prepared to spend 1.5 hours on the chat.
