It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90

when i m turning on my phone i m getting 3 options. transfer sim from another phone, search for mobile plans or set up later in settings. which do i select ? also whats the number to call for further help. the automatted line keeps telling me its sending me text and i have to accept and allow but i m not getting any text and its not letting me talk to anyone. i m using 800 9220204

Your number isn't on Verizon yet, so you won't be able to receive texts. You'll need to call them. Since it's the weekend, if your number is transferred and the eSIM can't be activated, you'll be without service. The stores will be also closed now. Try again tomorrow—you'll be able to reach someone then.

Well your line has not yet been ported based on my experience. Or somehow the esim got deleted or was never setup on your new iPhone

In my case, used another unlocked iphone. I installed their app, clicked Mobile icon at bottom selected the line from the top clicked on the right to get on manage device page.. scrolled down to device management -> activate or get sim continue.. it will get the esim on the iphone. Then use transfer sim from another phone to move the eSIM to your new iPhone.
Hope this helps

Porting status etc call 888-844-7095. You can update porting pin if its incorrect

Same! My Transfer PIN was expired; it had been over a week. I called 1-800-922-0204 and the port-in and transfer was instant after the PIN update. Try updating the status online using the Verizon status check link you can find it from the search results. Then, as Grouchy suggested, get an esim on your unlocked device and set up the new iPhone; your SIM will then transfer.

The email confirmation of order include info of rebate. That email also included invoice which had rebate info. I have not received the order so I would wait until it is delivered before I submit rebate

That line is saying my previous carrier has already approved the porting request. I was able to get hold of an agent and she said my number is already ported but she is unable to activate the line as I wouldnt be able to get the text number on my phone for activation as i cant receive the text yet, so she is telling me to go to a store to activate. Should I do that?

Yes go to store if it's open in person they can verify else keep calling and hope one of the rep understands your situation you'll have to explain multiple times to them that u can't receive texts as it's not Verizon number and you're new customer. Did you try from app?

You don't need to order separately, the $300 for each new line. When you submit in the rebate website, you can list all the new lines and you will receive a rebate tracking number for each number, so $300 GC for each line.

You actually need to submit another form to actually receive the gift card, they won't automatically send it to you. You have 60 days from day of order to do it.
