It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I just returned from a Verizon store and I received a very good deal. I took my T-Mobile bill with me, and the sales rep applied the following discounts:
National Discount Marker: $0.00
National Discount (3+ Lines): βˆ’$20.00
"Better Deal" for 4+ Phones: βˆ’$20.00
Promotional Credit: βˆ’$45.00 per month for 36 months
This brings my monthly bill to $101.21 before AutoPay, and $61.21 after AutoPay.
No trade-in required or anything. I got the phones, and my receipt shows the above discounts.
I'm concerned that the deal I got is too good to be true and wondering if there's any hidden catch that I'm missing.

I was on Magenta and paying $113 for 4 lines. Do you see anything I'm missing from my VZW deal. Just worried that the credits won't apply and calling them would be futile.

You don't need to order separately, the $300 for each new line. When you submit in the rebate website, you can list all the new lines and you will receive a rebate tracking number for each number, so $300 GC for each line.

I was only able to apply for one line. Will try for the balance ones later. Not sure if they will stick for other three. As it's clearly written in terms - limit one per order.

See this:

Verizon e-Gift Card: Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us. Complete the purchase of a smartphone with a new line on any myPlan Unlimited mobile plan from your cart. Redeem offer in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit one redemption claim within 60 days of order

Rep i chatted said only one per order. Maybe its a grey area.. as above words can be interpreted as one per new line

No i havent tried the app. i have to install it on the old phone correct ? since new phone is still not set up

Yeah install app on old phone pretty easy to do that. And don't worry of messing anything up. It's already messed up, as your new iphone no longer has the esim😊. I tried the process multiple times. Deleted the esim installed, wiped off the new iphone including the new esim etc. its very easy imo

You actually need to submit another form to actually receive the gift card, they won't automatically send it to you. You have 60 days from day of order to do it.

Can you please point me to the form please

I moved from tmobile. Now only the 5G Home internet connection is left on tmo account. Thinking of moving it to VZW but worried of their low speeds . Tmo Home Internet was $30 - $5 auto pay = $25 - promo in 2022. Any one in the same boat. The tmo rep said the pricing will stay at $25. But i have my doubts

Anyone in the same boat?
