It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I tried the my verizon app, its asking me for secret question's answer and i dont remember so I am stuck as to recover that its texting me. I went to the store and called the porting number, they pushed through the porting request and rep said line is activated but its not working on new phone. she said to wait for 4 hours, so my number got ported and i lost service on my previous carrier and phone is not activated.
Store people are useless, they said there is a previous pending order on the account and until it falls off you cannot activate..so i m screwed

Yeah install app on old phone pretty easy to do that. And don't worry of messing anything up. It's already messed up, as your new iphone no longer has the esim. I tried the process multiple times. Deleted the esim installed, wiped off the new iphone including the new esim etc. its very easy imo

I just returned from a Verizon store and I received a very good deal. I took my T-Mobile bill with me, and the sales rep applied the following discounts:
National Discount Marker: $0.00
National Discount (3+ Lines): −$20.00
"Better Deal" for 4+ Phones: −$20.00
Promotional Credit: −$45.00 per month for 36 months
This brings my monthly bill to $101.21 before AutoPay, and $61.21 after AutoPay.
No trade-in required or anything. I got the phones, and my receipt shows the above discounts.
I'm concerned that the deal I got is too good to be true and wondering if there's any hidden catch that I'm missing.

If folks can get $61.21 per month then that would be awesome. No one can beat this price 👏
Looks Verizon is desperately trying to gain new customers 😊😊😊

I moved from tmobile. Now only the 5G Home internet connection is left on tmo account. Thinking of moving it to VZW but worried of their low speeds . Tmo Home Internet was $30 - $5 auto pay = $25 - promo in 2022. Any one in the same boat. The tmo rep said the pricing will stay at $25. But i have my doubts

Anyone in the same boat?
After the phones, I got fios 300mbps for just $19.99/3 years. I was shocked

There are 4 lines. If the 1 st line on your order, then you are stuck. Each line can have their own account but the 1 line has the authority to get esim sent out

Also use can add the line to one of the other 3 phones ( no need to have an unlocked iphone). Just remember to transfer the correct esim to the one stuck.

Try logging in to your account on the website. It has options to send the code text to one of the other phones.

Yes I am stuck with my main primary line and it locked me out on verizon.com as well and asking me to send verification code to my phone, so port status line shows porting is completed but my new verizon phone showing emergency only. My line got disconnected from previous carrier.

Should I still go ahead and turn on other 3 phones and complete the port ?

So the sequence of event is I went to the store and we called the porting 888 line and they forced through the porting which stopped my service on current carrier. The store is telling me that there is another active order (the other order which was being returned to sender) until that drops off then cannot do anything.

I called the porting line again after I came home and they see no issue and they are saying porting is completed, one rep said may be wait for 4 hours and it might get activated. Other rep was not able to help.

I am in doubt if i should turn on other phones and start the process. All other 3 lines on port status site showing that it's "In progress". One Rep even forwarded me to tech support and they were unable to help.

Somehow if I am able to download the SIM I might be able to activate but everywhere its asking me to send a text to my phone number which is not active.

Are you saying that I should create a new verizon.com account with one of the other line and then try to download sim from there? Will it not detect that number as connect to my email/login?

Just a heads up, if you missed the free activation via chat, I spoke with Verizon, and they said to call back once the lines are activated and they'll waive the fees, as I missed this when I placed the order w/o chat's help. I saved the chat for reference.

Question to group: I picked up the 4 new phones and set up only 3. 2 are existing Verizon lines upgraded and 2 new lines added - but only need 1 new line for mother in law. We don't have use for the 4th line and phone. Big question is do I have to open the brand new package and turn on the cell to activate all rebates and billing systems going. Or can I just leave it in new box as-is and will get all billing estimates sorted out and GCs mailed, and be able to sell the 4th device after 60 days?

I ordered a total of 4 phones, 1 phone in each order to get the 300gc, but my order confirmation email shows a different accout number for each order. When I login, I only see the first order. Did I mess up? Do I have four accounts?

Their verbiage says it might take 1-2 billing cycles for the credits to kick in so you might see huge bills for a couple of months but they credit those back eventually. What is the Promotional Credit you received of −$45.00 ?
