It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

It's equivalent to most Verizon-based MVNOs and Visible's lowest tier.
This reddit post [reddit.com] explains data prioritization for the 3 major carriers and the MVNOs on them.

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90
Emerg Comm Acc Tax: $3.22
City UUT: $0.28
Total charges per line = $9.29

It's still a really good deal if you're in the market for new iPhones

I've seen comments here that doing this offer online through chat is the only way to avoid the activation fees, and other comments that in store is better - I have an old tmo plan 4 lines / $100 and one phone with about $500 left to pay off via monthly credits, ideally I'd get verizon to give me 4 new free phones and match my current price for the tmo plan without eating a bunch of costs for activation fees etc. - is my best option to go to a store or try my luck online?
We did same. They will pay of the pixel remaining balance but do keep in mind you'll need to send that T-Mobile paid off device to Verizon. You'll need over 1hr to chat and place order. It took us over 1.5hrs.

Yep. Store is the way to go. Like someone else said, the online agents won't budge. She straight out told me that the offer she quoted would be the best I could get. It ended up being around $186 before the autopay deductions ($146 total monthly after taxes included with 100GB hotspot on one line and HBO/Netflix perks added on at $10 each) and I never saw the $300 GC on my order so I canceled it this morning. She did remove the activation fees tho. I'm sticking with my TMO Magenta Military plan.

This damn promo is all over the place with the credits and gift cards. I bet you by the end of this someone going to be like they got 4 lines $100/mo x 36 mo with discount of $100 x 36 mo. Making their whole plan free.

Just did this and used the BF cashback website. It advertised $75 cash back but after doing the 4 line promo I got notification of $300 cash back from BFrug website. Must be $75 per line. Making this deal much sweeter

How did you get giftcard early?
It was just a submission for each line but the agent did put a note to my account so if I don't receive what I was promised, contact Verizon again and tell them to read the note, so they will give me the credits on my bill instead.

This whole thing is making my mind explode. So for the people receiving extra gift cards and bill discounts did you ask for them or were they offered for the inconvenience? I have logged about 30 hours on the phone between Verizon and FedEx and about 10 hours on internet chat. My wife took 2 days off due to packages coming on 2 separate days needing to be signed for. They have not once offered anything for the inconvenience. Now they have the nerve to alert me about my bill? Which will be a whole different story as it's $65 more a month than quoted?

OK, thanks all for the answers on this deal, but I have had tmo for 12+ years and like it just fine, was leery about switching, being locked into verizon for 3 years and possibly not liking the service. So, I figured I'd call tmo and give them a shot at keeping me and my 4 lines. CSR that took my call immediately said you've been with tmo as a valuable customer for 12 years, here's what we can do - upgraded 3 of the 4 lines (I have 1 1phone 16 still with 10/24 payments to make and my daughter likes it fine so I didn't ask to upgrade that one) an iphone 12 to iphone 17 (not plus - csr said she could only finagle up to $830 cost of any new phone) an iphone 13 to an S25 and an S22 to an S25, waived the $35 activation fees for all but one line, but added a $20.a month credit to my bill to offset that), bottom line is 3 upgraded phones (all require me to trade in the old ones) and my monthly bill for the same plan I've had will be $20 less each month. Yeah, iphone 17 pro is nicer, S25 plus is nicer, no trade ins is easier than trading in, but, all of us on my plan like the tmo service and no no worrying about how verizon service will be, 2 years of bill credits not 3 years on vzn, and no worries about taxes etc snowballing and making the change more expensive than what I pay now. Rep for tmo said if I get to the store before her shift ends at 4 pm today she will see it picked up, and finish whatever else she needs to do today. Anyway, if you're on tmo now, maybe worth calling in to see if they can work out something to keep you from switching? I'm good with this.

When you submit using the rebate website, you only need the phone number and code and name , nothing else, right?
And an email address....

Only with the lucky ones. I called them about six times after that $5-per-line increase, and not once did they offer me anything except free lines.

No way my cousin got 6 lines for $196 after autopay and taxes included. The chat agent didn't budge and only offered the usual $300 and to pay off phones. We even asked for plan upgrades for 2 lines at the same price, they said the system couldn't allow it.
I tried to login to my online account but it requested the account number but I didn't have it. So, I contacted Verizon but the first agent took some time but couldn't find my account but said the phone number is from a business line so I got transferred to a business agent but also couldn't find my account either. The last agent was finally able to open my account. This whole process took hours. The last agent has more tools on the system so I believe he or she is above the previous 2 agents and maybe has the ability to provide additional offers.

So about $$25 + $9.29 = $34.29 per line with those taxes... Free iPhone 17... so tempted to jump ship from TMobile.

I bet most won't even see the gift card(s). They wait until 30days so you can't cancel and return so that's a loss. Also selling these phones won't be easy because market will be saturated with them as well as them having eip. Best bet, use the save and switch and get phones for free if Verizon flakes in gc/ credits

If you call instead of chat, you can get the credit instead of giftcard.
