- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.
While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

So for me that was $65 x 2 + $40 x 2 = $210/month less $40 Auto Pay and $20 National Discount = $150/month. The published deal rates are including the $20 National Discount since that is how the per month pricing is being arrived for this particular promo.
The $20/month "Better" discount and the $45/month discount are additional discounts not reflected in the $150/month price for 4 lines. If you count them in then I will only be paying $85/month for 4 lines with 2 on the Ultimate Plan and 2 on the Welcome Plan. I think it will be very difficult to beat anywhere.
In the end I just ended up porting 5x lines from Tmobile, 1x BYOD free ($30 additional monthly discount) and 4x Welcome plan. Which ends up being $150-$45-$30=$75 monthly + tax. Not too bad of a deal being that I got 4x new 17 pros and my Tmobile Magenta I was paying 185 for 5x lines (have 2 additional free lines but i havent found a use for them). Will probably try to call in VZ to see if a rep can replicate these discounts. The store rep did warn that shifting the discounts around might cause you to lose them and will be a pain the get it back
