- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.
While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

What is the 'name' of the $45 discount so we can reference it properly, and I'm hearing some reps say it doesn't stack with the $20 'national offer' and $20 'better plan'. Also, these 3 discounts total to $85, but some of you mentioned $65 off so just so I understand it, maybe 2 of them stack and 1 of them doesn't?
On another note, I'm getting nervous on the $300 first bill credit I was promised. I am talking to customer service now and they are telling me that bc they cant pull up my account (havent created since I dont have devices) they cant mark this so he is creating a note on my order. If they start giving me a hard time after the fact, is there anyone I can complain to?

going into store is not necessary. i got the extra 65 over the phone but must have the right agent (and need to do the bill upload thing). it pays to walk away then call back and speak to someone else preferably inside sales (vs customer service).

Did you try to call (vs chat)? Also on the 300 GC - did they offer that upfront or did you have to ask? And is it a bill credit? Did you get something that shows they offered that?
