It sounds pretty slick on paper, just keep in mind some considerations:

- Phone sales tax- due at sign up.
- Monthly Taxes. Like someone mentioned can be as high as $9/line per month
- Activation fees. Apparently $40 per line, but maybe you can get waived?
- Verizon has historically said allow 1-2 billing cycles for discounts to appear. Well, if they don't appear be prepared to spend multiple calls and hours to try and get them to honor their agreement.
- This service plan is the lowest unlimited so don't get the ultra wideband (faster 5g) or hot spot.
- to take full advantage of the discount you have to keep the lines for 3 years. That's a long time to be locked in. Theoretical scenario: if you pulled all 4 lines out after 2 years would owe around $1500 for the phone pay offs.

While a good price, I think they are trying to get you to sign up, and then bc you'll be frustrated with the lower plan will upgrade at a significant cost ($40/line instead of $25).

Here's the taxes for my CA city if anyone's interested

Fed Universal Service Charge: $0.41
Regulatory Charge: $0.21
Admin & Telco Recovery Charge: $3.78
CA State 911 Surcharge: $0.41
CA State 988 Surcharge: $0.08
CA Universal Service PPP Fee: $0.90

Has anyone else been denied the rebates? Online says "pending," and on the MyVerizon app, it says denied. I called, and they did not have an answer for me and said they would do some research.

Update: Verizon called me back and informed me that it would take 8 weeks before I receive the details. I also received the following text from them:

Verizon Msg: Hi, this is EVA and your gift card is under validation and within 4 weeks you will be receiving all the details of the gift card.

BTW...I am willing to bet EVA was an AI bot, just the way the conversation went and how they spoke. A normal person would not have spoken the way she did.

GC Update: I had 1 order with 3 lines (Chat), 2 orders with 1 line each(Online). Initially I submitted 3 GC rebates which popped up in my device management after activation. Then I used the link to submit for 2 other lines to try the luck, I received 3 cards already on email and 2 are showing processed, usually it pops up in my email the night after it shows processed, so 5 300GC in total.

Just wanted to provide a data point. I purchased online with 4 lines on 12/19/25. I was in hurry, no agent involved. Two iPhone 16s shipped immediately and were activated two days after the order. The iPhone 17 Pros were backordered and activated roughly 10 days after the initial order.
I filed rebates for all four lines on 1/4/25 (never received a promo code, so I used one from this thread). I received two $300 rebates today for the first two lines. The remaining two lines are still pending. Single order. 2x$300 in hand. 2x$300 is expected in 48 hours. Not bad.
update: 1/24/26: received the remaining 2 lines of $300 GC.
In Summary:
2 Iphone 16 Pro Max + 2 Iphone 17 Pro
4x$300 VZ GC
12 month of $80 discount = $960
$300 from CB site
$120 Activation fee waived with chat

It was online order for 4 phones with just one line having the $300 GC promo added.
I also did a store pickup so it was relatively fast (did faced issues with activation but in 2 days of ordering all lines were active) after activation submitted the 4 rebates)
