The NEWER VERSION, the PRO (this is plus) is on clearance sale for same price!
Unfortunately only the single stick, but this one is better for open flame cooking on the grill, due to higher temperature rating!

I was under the impression the Meater was the top dawg....?
I'm cooking a prime rib roast for the first time this Christmas and need to buy one of these so I don't mess it up. I already ordered the meatmeet from Amazon, but I'm still within the return window. Should I get this instead?
I like the tempspike but I will also say i have two singles and two doubles, only one single still works and 2/4 spikes in the doubles. The spikes don't seem to hold charge anymore.
