Not meant as an impact. Loose by hand with tool then power out. Great for long threaded or hard to reach bolts. But don't be expecting to remove lug nuts or head bolts. You will break this more than likely.

These 12v ratchets seem better suited for the 1/4" size, but they want $60 for that version. HD also has the 18V Ryobi ratchets on sale if you need more power/torque.

Even for the bigger ratchet with the Ryobi One+ battery, it is strong but won't last long if used to break tight bolts since it's not the intended use.

I agree, I don't like the entire USB-C charging line with 2AH battery. Not convenient to use and doesn't last.

I understand it's not to break a nut, but 10ft lb of torque? This should be worth $15 then

I use this for bike stuff. A lot of specialty sockets are 3/8s and the parts have a lot of threads so this helps spin them on.

I bought one of these about a year ago specifically for low-torque jobs and truthfully the torque is so low the "tool" is almost useless. Even after breaking it lose I can't even spin off a 1/4" nyloc. This is more of a novelty than a tool.

Can it be returned if opened? Or is the packaging vacuum sealed?
