Wonder if us old blind people could use this to read small print. Currently I am taking a photo on my phone and then enlarging. This is for very small print.

1000x zoom? Man, you must have the iPhone 117 SuperMaxPlusUltraEdition!

Jokes aside, the 1000x is probably not real world (likely a mix between lenses and digital magnification) but the biggest problem a cell phone is likely to have is the lack of macro focus. Even if you could zoom to the max or you phone, even in pure manual mode the camera not be able to focus on something a few mm from the lens. Not to mention, the image would be completely dark because there would be no light focused on that point either.

Now, Temu probably has something you could pair with a cell phone but would likely cost you near this amount.

Wouldn't the zoom on any cell phone serve the same purpose?

Yes. You can do that but there are devices if you truly have uncorrectable vision issues. Uncorrectable means you have something wrong with your eyes beyond needing glasses.

If you don't then it is probably easier to have a pair of glasses and it will be more comfortable to use for other things also.

You should use the magnifier on your phone instead. That way you don't have to take a picture to look at it bigger!

Why not just keep using your phone? It's on you, always charged, has a better camera, and has a better screen. It's better in every way to read small print.

I had to do that today, I have 20/20 vision but got my eye dilated. Couldn't make out anything within 20' feet of me....for hours. My cell phone on max zoom became by best friend.

if you have a luxury watch, you can use this to see why it's actually so expensive. looking at the letters with this will show you how fine the craftsmanship is. the letter lines don't smear under a microscope. then look at a cheap 100 dollar watch and you'll see the letters smear.

Magnifying bugs makes you thankful they are small and not any bigger because some of them are little monsters.
