I have 2 pairs and like them a lot, but the list price s a joke. $32 is a good price, but you can almost always get them for $35-40.

You can get them for mid-to-high $20's quite often. The "list price" is absolute bullshit. This "sale" price kinda stinks too.

I have these and the Howard Leight (Honeywell). These are far superior from a noise suppression and ambient sound amplification standpoint. I've only used both of these at indoor ranges--don't know what the difference in noise suppression requirements are with outdoor ranges.

I have these and they work great outdoors. You can have conversations and the sound is muffled when someone shoots. These with the flag sewed on always seem to be a few dollars more.

A veteran friend of mine gave me a pair of these on Black Friday. We went to the range that day. Fired about 80 rounds of 9mm and 60 rounds with my AR-15. No ringing or head "weirdness" afterwards. I also loved how we could carry on a conversation at a normal speaking volume and could hear each other just fine.

Loved it so much, I bought a pair for the missus. Because a couple that sprays together stays together.

I tried the AR with a pair of AXIL noise cancelling tactical earbuds years ago. Major regret. It sounded like everybody was tinny and/or I was underwater for like a day after we were done at the range.

Regardless of how good ear muffs are, I always use ear plugs and ear muffs at the range. Why? Because the ear muffs are always on top of your eye protection. So there's a gap where sound can get through. Better safe than sorry

I was recommended the Howard Leight, im still waiting for my 308 and shotgun to pass the 10 day waiting period but planning on a range trip taking a 9mm, 22LR, 308, and 12 gage. I want good protection without having to pay 500$ are these good enough specially paired with earplugs for added protection? Or should I look for something different sub 120$

I'll keep an eye out for a Slick Deal on These. I bought a pair of 3M that are made to working in high noise environments. They work well and are comfortable to wear, but are rather bulky.
