im obsessed with low end/vizo soundbars recently. this totally slipped my radar.

anyways I have the 5.1 SE, which has pros of good clarity and works well, but cons of a weak sub (very small enclosure, 4.7"). and retails for 198.

This one seems to have two big positives over the SE, true wireless speakers (rather than wired to the sub) and a slightly bigger sub enclosure (actual sub size isnt mentioned).

TBH the sub isnt bigger enough though. The enclosure still pales in size next to almost any other sub from Samsung, JBL, or even past Vizio's or the Elevate Vizio (which has a 6" sub and 2x+ sized enclosure, and is still on the small side compared to other brands). I'd be skeptical. It'll probably be fine if you dont want big bass. But for 250 on sale no less...idk.

Also wireless subs are nice but keep in mind they still have to be plugged in. My Vizio SE has a total of two plugs. The subwoofer, which then has wires running to the two satellites with no plugs, and the the main bar. Most wireless setups require FOUR plugs, each sattelite, plus the sub and the bar. So theyre not as much better as you'd think. But nonetheless, are still way better. For my setup, the wires just run behind my couch and the sub sits next to the couch, so wired-to-sub is no big deal, but I still wish they werent.

sams has the elevate se for 299. better deal. a higher class of sub, probably better in bar speakers too is my guess, and two upfiring atmos speakers. if you can tolerate wired to sub rears.

I bought the WM one for $129 and its surprisingly good. The sound is not as punchy as my Samsung 990D...BUT also way less expensive and totally what I was looking for in a lower cost setup. Satellites are true wireless and despite the small footprint, sound is VERY pleasing.
