Not sure if you noticed it, but in amazon's ai summary of the reviews, it does say that many have mentioned how they seem to be much shorter than advertised, and note ~5-6"

I have a few of these in various colors. Black is the best as they are thinner and semi transparent in light colors. The pockets in 1 or 2 of them have developed holes causing me to lose a gym locker key on one occasion. Just be aware they are not Lululemon quality with stitching and pockets you would expect for their price, but for 4 bucks I ordered 3x more lol. One last note, they are not super forgiving if you have thick thighs. They don't stretch as much as you think they would.

Update: these just arrived and are being returned immediately. The size is very different than the previous pairs I bought back in 2021 and 2023. The same size Large I've bought 4x before has like, no joke, 3-4 inches of more slack in the waistband than the older models. I couldn't keep them on my waist, even tied tight. I rescind my comment about not stretching as much or fitting thick thighs - they must have heard similar feedback and blew these up. The old models were also 10% elastane, these are 12% and have an even lighter main material (it does note it's now recycled polyester - which while I'm sure is better for the earth, feels even cheaper). Oh well. Hope they fit everyone else better than me - the price was too good.
