If the chest gets too cold, the body constricts blood vessels in extremities to save heat, making hands and feet cold.

Bingo - totally correct. I am a mountain climber/hiker/skiier, and I recall a time I was heading up for a hike towards Camp Muir on Mount Rainier. It was windy and cold, and my hands in particular were cold. Thicker gloves were not cutting it, and as soon as I added another layer to my core/torso, problem resolved. In my experience, the two quickest ways to warm up while outside are adding a core/torso layer and drinking a hot liquid.

Wash? You must be single. We don't think about those chores. We have rocks to crush, trees to cut and snow to shovel

Battery and charger are $50. So $20 for the jacket - steal.

Get a haart to Milwaukee battery converter for all you m18 fans. Been using Harts RC car that way for a couple of years, ps cars super fun. Safety? Why don't sleep while wearing it.
