If anyone is looking for 8TB storage in a Macbook form factor. This was likely a $4000+ machine just a couple of years ago!

16gb is too limiting for this set up with 8tb for me with longevity.

Standard RAM on the M4 Pro is 24GB. That should be a strong sign to anyone considering buying a used machine with just 16GB. M4 Pro also has TB5 port if you need to add fast storage. Or wait a couple months until the M5 Pro MBP is release and get a clearance M4 Pro then.

I wouldn't personally want just 16GB, but this config is also $1,699 on Woot right now... https://computers.woot.com/offers...tb-2023z-3

I'd buy this at the current price if it had 32GB RAM in it.

Micro Center had these as factory refurbished for awhile at $1200-$1500 for the last few months before it was all sold a month ago.
I would pay for factory refurbished as it has a year warranty thru Apple and Apple is the one who refurbished them.
