More than likely... we bought and used a TOW Strap.. hooks on each end.. works great and inexpensive

Did you screw to two joists in ceiling? Or put a plank between and then screw to plank for better anchor.

Not as far as our Gen X sling, er, I mean swing, version... It had chains instead of straps so it could darn near loop the branch (which usually broke off the tree first) and a fifth attachment point for another chain/line that someone could us from the ground to "crack the whip" and really send you flying! Some would land (I would say hit) the ground so hard they wacked themselves in the back of their head with their own heels, flexible!
