There are 7 1/4 sliding miter saws in stock in the Lynchburg/Bedford/Roanoke, VA area if anybody happens to be looking for those. I have heard they are not as good as the 10 inch, but I don't have personal experience with the smaller saw. The 10 inch is great and was even sweeter getting it for $180 with the batteries. Of course I needed bigger batteries for the saw and I now have 4 other Bosch tools that I wasn't planning on buying....

I got lucky and was able to pick up the 7 and the 10 inch miter saws.

I switched my store until the miter saw that I was looking for was available. It is a slow and stupid process. It is way easier to check if stores nearby have stock on Home Depot's website. I don't know why Lowe's website is so difficult.
